A/R Specialist Needed

Position Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting accounting information, in addition to providing accurate and current information to the appropriate decision-makers. This position requires that you be familiar with Microsoft – Word and Excel. Experience with Great Plains and Lawson preferred. It is important that you are able to work regular business hours. Formal Education Required/Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business field preferred or equivalent experience 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable required Technical/ Task Statements: -Assist management in researching both operational and financial issues and questions as needed. -Aid in identifying and developing solutions to process improvement opportunities. -Maintain relationships with internal customers in order to ensure that departmental customer service objectives are maintained. -Use oral and written communication techniques -Use strong organizational and prioritizing skills -Use personal computer including word processing and spreadsheet. -Knowledge of and experience in accounts receivable and general ledger processes and procedures -Knowledge of banking procedures (deposits, balances, returns and paper work etc.) -Knowledge of credit card processing and authorization -Strong attention to details -Understanding of A/R aging and ability to collect on delinquent accounts If interested and qualified for the position please apply online.We also offer referral fees so if this isn’t a position for you pass it along to someone who it might be a fit for and we will compensate you if that person works a min of 3 months for one of our clients.
