ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR- FORTUNE 500 COMPANY
Our client, a well respected, fortune 500 entertainment company is in need of a Financial Reporting Supervisor. This is a great opportunity to work for one of the largest corporations in the area. Excellent compensation, benefits, and great growth opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and/or review financial statements and footnotes included in quarterly SEC filings. Supports the quarterly earnings release activities through the preparation of various analyses. Prepare and/or review certain monthly consolidation-level entries. Prepare and/or review monthly schedules supporting consolidated financial statement balances. Respond to ad-hoc request and external auditor questions. Prepares annual budget for certain items. Research technical accounting issues periodically. Will supervise other professional staff on projects. Minimal travel required. REQUIREMENTSBachelors degree in accountingMinimum of four to seven years of experience that includes significant financial reporting experience as either an employee of a SEC-filer company and/or as an auditor with SEC-filer clients. Must have good documentation skills and have the ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner. Able to react to change productively. CPA or CPA-candidate.
