Challenge
Due to continued success and internal promotion, our client has a need to hire a new Accounting Manager for their Controller’s Group. We need a leader who thrives in a busy and fast environment – someone who is a master of deadlines. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to expand and take the next career step.
As Accounting Manager, your duties will include:
· Review and analysis of divisional financial statements
· Monthly consolidation of foreign and domestic subsidiariesSubsidiary guarantor financial statement preparation and reviewSupervision and development of accounting staffAccounting policy assistance and US GAAP researchMonthly consolidation eliminations (including profit in inventory and foreign currency hedges)Review monthly analysis of Corporate company accountsResponsible for global general ledger governanceOversight of the global intercompany reconciliation processCorporate account reconciliation reviewJournal entry reviewOversight of global foreign currency transaction and translation ratesAssist with preparation of corporate cash flows and review of consolidating statement of cash flowsMaintenance of controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirementsReview and oversight of US Government reporting requirements (non-SEC)Maintenance of global financial closing calendarReview and/or complete schedules for independent auditors
