Accounting Specialist Clerk (Fixed Assets)

Accounting Specialist Clerk for Fixed AssetsInternational manufacturing company located in Mobile, AL is searching for an Accounting Clerk with Fixed Assets and manufacturing experience.  This position also requires SAP knowledge and experience.Position Description:  ·  Monthly, quarterly and year-end accruals and prepayments·  Effective interdepartmental communication of issues affecting the property functions·  Extensive balance sheet analysis to identify and correct errors and omissions·  Responsible for the data integrity of the fixed asset system and reconciliation thereof to the accounting general ledger·  Depreciation calculations and bookings into SAP system Daily Tasks Performed: ·  Prepare balance sheet reconciliations·  Book all fixed assets·  Budget tracking in connection to fixed assets Position Requirements: ·  SAP Asset Management module capabilities·  Deep knowledge of fixed asset accounting Minimum Job Relevant Experience: ·  3-4 years asset accounting experience·  Most if not all experience in large company with many and varied fixed assets Requirements ·  BS in accounting or related degree·  Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines·  Strong analytical skills·  Strong individual contributor Additional Work Factors:·  Estimated amount of overtime: High during closings·  Frequency, average duration of travel: Little to none Located in Mobile CountyGreat benefits!  Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
