We are looking for a(n) Accounts Payable Clerk who supports accounting operations by coding invoices and entering them into the system, printing checks, reconciling bank statements and is good at data entry along with other various office tasks.
Qualifications
Exceptional work ethic. Uses time productively, maximizes efficiency, and meets challenging work goals.
Has perfect attendance and can be trusted to handle a high level of responsibility.
Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management.
Types with speed and accuracy (50+ WPM).
PC experience in Macintosh or Windows environments. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, Web-enabled applications, and database software.
Proficiency in using Excel, Lotus, or other applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information.
Has excellent organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Maintains historical reference and records data.
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.
Keys quantitative and qualitative data with speed and accuracy into the computer. (6,000 ksph with 5% or less error rate)
Skilled at using general office equipment, including phones, faxes, copiers, scanners, and printers.
Excellent people skills. Interacts effectively and works productively with a wide range of people.
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
Strong multi-tasking skills. Completes several concurrent tasks.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
