Accounts Payable Specialist - Corporate Retail HQ

Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  TS-05047-528074 Location:  CA 92626 Job Status:  Full Time, Employee JOB FUNCTION: The Accounts Payable Specialist will have complete responsibility of the Accounts Payable functions.  The position has the responsibility to ensure that all accounts payable invoices are properly approved, classified, and audited before they are entered into the system for payment.  The following is a summary of the responsibilities.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.  Open, date stamp, and input into computer all incoming invoices after ensuring proper authorization and receipt of product or service. Ensure use tax is accrued on applicable invoices. Input expenditures paid via wire transfer and foreign draft. Complete weekly check processing and distribution. Deal with vendors to resolve accounts payable discrepancies and to answer other related inquiries. Ensure proper filing and storage of all accounts payable documentation. Reconcile Accounts Payable Aging to GL at month end. Prepare month-end accruals.
