Administration Team Leader - Human Resources

SUMMARY

Responsible for team leadership, projects and resources of
an administrative area that includes more than one area of
specialization or performs a centralized function.
Typically a mid-management level at a medium to smaller
size division or may be over a single function that
requires significant staffing and coordination at a large
division.

Functional areas within administration include:

Human Resources: staffing; employee relations; affirmative
action; compensation and benefits; training and
development; and related areas.



LEVEL CHARACTERISTICS

I. Complexity
Develops plans and schedules for team(s) to ensure
achievement of goals over an extended time period.
Coordinates activities and provides leadership to team
members assigned to performing a portion of a major
project or to multiple business/customer areas. Ensures
integration with related teams or interdependent
functions. Organizes the structure of the team(s) and may
redirect the objectives of the team, or other team
leaders,in order to achieve organizational goals or meet
customer requirements.

II. Impact
Recommends and implements systems or methods to improve
the effective operation of the administrative unit or
team. Prepares recommendations to the division leadership
team regarding policies and procedures. Relates
effectively to people at many levels in the organization
including external contacts with government agencies,
customers, and business/service providers.
Skills and Responsibilities



1. Results driven, HR leadership w/ 7 years HR experience, mfg. environment 2 + years preferred.
2. Personal integrity; exceptional communications skills; ability to build strong relationships.
3. Customer service orientation; excellent employee relations, problem/conflict resolution.
4. Strategic partner with leadership team, provide innovative focus and approach; ability to initiate/create positive change.
5. Demonstrate leadership development and team building experience.





1. Lead Naples FSD HR team in providing business partnership to site. Promote change & innovative HR services and processes.
2. Present change agent ideas with the ability to get team member buy in.
3. Conduct leadership and team training; provide individual coaching.
4. Meet regularly with leaders & teams to assess needs and level of satisfaction.
5. Oversee recruiting and placement of professional and technical personnel.




Job qualifications.
BS degree in Business Administration or a similar
discipline, and professional level experience of six or
more years. Demonstrated ability to perform the described
role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results.

Proven competency in a team leader role for two or more
years, and/or demonstrated leadership of major projects or
programs in a team environment.

Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in
producing results and meeting organizational objectives.
Capable of assessing and developing individual and team
skills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain
enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serves as a
role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.

Effective interpersonal communications skills; attentive
to customer and team member needs.

Thorough knowledge of administrative specialty area,
general business systems and practices, and division
products and operations.
