We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Business Manager.  This position is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational effectiveness of the campus.  Specific responsibilities include:

  -Assist Campus President in preparing, implementing, and overseeing the campus budget. Plan and conduct regular cost/benefit analyses of business activities and recommend budget improvement measures where appropriate.

  -Ensure accurate and timely forecasts.

  -Oversee the ongoing maintenance of all relevant financial data pertaining to the revenue and expenses of the day-to-day operations.

  -Provide timely information to the Campus President and the corporate Financial Services Department as it relates to financial and other business operations of the campus. Interpret financial transactions and events for users who make economic and/or business decisions. 

  -Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. 

  -Assist with external audits.

  -Oversee campus compliance with corporate purchasing guidelines and procedures.

  -Supervise and manage staff in department.

  -Serve as member of campus executive committee.

 

Applicants must have a Bachelor degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of related experience.  CPA certification and/or license preferable.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational and problem resolution skills.
