Bi-lingual Italian: Commercial credit analyst/underwriter
Responsible for analyzing OPEN business customers to assess risk and then establish the appropriate line size to reduce risk and maximize spend. Consistently meet or exceed underwriting goals and maintain a high standard of credit portfolio quality. Demonstrate excellent judgment in all credit decisions, perform complete commercial credit risk analysis and implement identified process improvements on an ongoing basis. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners at all levels. American Express is an Equal Opportunity Employer. QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year experience in Commercial credit analysis or residential underwriting is preferred. Must demonstrate experience with reviewing and interpreting P & L's, balance sheets and/or statements of cash flow to determine credit worthiness. Incumbent must be proficient in reading and writing Italian. Excellent financial, analytical, and problem solving skills are required. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills are a must. Must posess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. A bachelor's degree in Business or Finance is strongly desired. Demonstrated ability to work in a cohesive team environment. Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position(s). Salary Range: $41,700 to $60,000 dependent on experience, w/add'l bonus incentive.
