The Business Unit Controller is a strategic analytical role focused on business performance improvement and return on investment opportunities along with P&L management with the focus of accountability driven within the organization. As a key member of the organization, you will be involved in operational strategy formulation, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, fixed assets, annual and long-range strategic planning. As Business Unit Controller, duties will include the following: • Responsible for planning, analyzing, and controlling costs associated with production material, tooling, and departmental expenses. • Maintains communication with the CEO and management as necessary to provide relevant financial and reporting information. This includes driving positive returns on investment for all significant changes in strategy and investments. • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures in accordance with corporate policies and procedures • Monitor and ensure compliance of financial controls for all entities globally in the Business Unit • Design and implement performance measurements that monitor the department's progress toward key objectives. • Monitor and report department's performance in achieving it's objectives by providing reports and analysis on all Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) • Implement Strategic Business Plan actions for Finance and Business Control • Provide financial analysis and forecasts • Implement efficiency and process improvements for controlling activities • Meet all global reporting, budgeting and forecasting deadlines • Interface with Shared Service on matters of financial transaction process and accuracy Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited University/College (CPA and/or MBA preferred). • 8-12 years of relevant financial and accounting experience in public companies with high growth and complex multi-national operations. • Demonstrated managerial capability including a career with at least one managerial/controller level experience that highlights increased levels of responsibility and authority. • Ability to work with world wide manufacturing entities particularly in Asia • Cost Accounting background is preferred in a high-tech manufacturing environment (semiconductor ideal). • Excellent communication (written and presentation skills) as well as the ability to quickly establish trust and respect are key success factors in order to influence operational decision making. • Advanced PC skills, including use of Excel and other spreadsheet and reporting applications and dashboards Position offers excellent benefits package and advancement opportunities.
