Bookkeeper/Account Manager
WLA (Culver City) CPA firm, specializing in entertainment business management and tax and financial planning for high income/high net worth individuals, seeks an individual to maintain general ledgers, process client deposits and cash disbursements, maintain detailed account analyses, prepare payroll and p/r tax returns, and generate financial statements and other periodic reports. Any knowledge of individual income tax preparation would be useful. This is a visible position in a small firm with considerable client contact (requiring complete English fluency) and provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge of various aspects of the entertainment industry. Many of our clients are directors, actors, performing artists, writers and music producers. Start date would be ASAP, working hours are 9-6 daily. Non-smokers only, please. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
College graduate with combined minimum gpa of 3.25; completion of accounting courses through intermediate; working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel and Word. We prefer a candidate with experience in a CPA or finance firm.
