Business-to-Business Collector - Call 714/662-1988Description: Volt Services Group in Costa Mesa has partnered with our corporate office to help identify an experienced Business-to-Business Collector. This temporary employment opportunity is located in the city of Orange. The ideal candidate will be responsible for initiating the collections process, providing customers with detailed information and requesting payment information. Additional duties will include communicating with our District Accounting Center and branch offices to resolve any customer concerns. This individual works closely with credit department personnel to ensure that all Volt credit policies are followed. Processes accounts up to and including third party agencies, when necessary. Reviews, researches and reconciles customer accounts. Confirms invoice and payment information, as well as the resolution of prior issues. Processes necessary adjustments on customer accounts. Responds to internal and external customer requests via telephone, email and voice mail. Works closely with Credit Analysts. Maintains positive working relationships with internal and external customers. Provides information to upper management concerning problematic accounts, as required. Requirements: Qualified candidates will posses a minimum of three (3) years of business-to-business collections experience. Must be detail oriented and flexible. This position requires an individual who performs well in a team, as well as an independent contributor. Must have experience researching issues with customers accounts and follow through to resolution. Must be able to provide courteous and effective service to all internal and external customers. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required to effectively interact with professionals at all levels. Time management and organizational skills are a must. Staffing industry experience is a plus. A proficient, working knowledge of MS Excel is required.
