CPA Corporate Controller

Company:  Ajilon Finance Job Category:  Accounting/Finance/Insurance Reference Code:  S9-05051-527478 Location:  CA 94104 Job Status:  Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Oversee financial accounting processes for two investment funds totaling more than $10 billion in gross assets. This position also manages approximately 30 joint-venture partner relationships, 15 investor relationships and a team of six portfolio accountants.   Responsibilities: ·Manage team of six (including two CPAs). ·Direct monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and reporting for each fund. ·Manage annual GAAP financial audit process for both funds. ·Obtain a solid understanding of each fund’s operating agreements to ensure strict compliance in all matters. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for both funds. ·Oversee capital transactions for both funds. ·Assist the Chief Accounting Officer and the Director of Compliance with technical accounting research and document new policies as needed. ·Act as a liaison between the company’s tax department and the joint-venture partners to ensure the successful completion of over 50 tax returns.    Qualifications: ·At least five years of experience as a controller with real estate or institutional asset management experience and a background that also includes several years of experience with a well-respected public accounting firm. · CPA is required.   Please send resumes immediately to: crystal.avila@ajilon.com Salary/Pay Rate: DOE About Ajilon Ajilon Professional Staffing is a leader in recruiting and project consulting, with specialty divisions in finance & accounting, management & office support, and legal.
