Community Administrator

Position Description:

Assist in maintaining high occupancy level through support of and participation in the leasing effort and other office activities.

Evaluate the needs of our customers while communicating the corresponding benefits.

Administer the organization of the business office to facilitate effective operations.

Maintain filing, inventory, communications and record keeping in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor accounts receivable and related paperwork to ensure timely rent collections.

Assist Community Manager in resolving delinquent and problem accounts.

Practice proficient clerical skills and is computer proficient.

Interface as assigned with maintenance personnel, support groups, and vendors to track follow-through on resident needs.

Contribute to the team effort in being aware of and relaying information regarding the community's general appearance and condition, which could impact our ability to maintain a quality living environment and lease apartment homes.

Promote positive, proactive resident relations by working to make the living experience, particularly the first and last impressions, of the highest quality.


Additional Qualifications:

Experience with bookkeeping, A/R or A/P required.

Previous experience in property management, hotel, HOA or other related industry is a plus.

Excellent sales and superior customer service skills.

Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.

Computer proficiency including MS Word and Excel.

Ability to interact effectively with management, peers residents and prospects.

Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.

Reliable transportation.

English proficiency.

Qualifications:

Two to three years of relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
