Accounts Receivable/Collections Manager

Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAdministers and enforces A/R and Collection policies and procedures including pre-liens and the PO processes. Prepares, analyzes and monitors aging reports. Develops weekly forecast for Accounting Management. Oversees the daily cash management, reports and distribution. Works closely with Credit and Default Manager in assisting enforcement of credit limits, default accounts, and other management processes. Hires, trains and supervises collections staff. Monitors credit memos. Major Account responsibility including direct calls and assists collection staff with calls. Manages the daily A/R and Collections operation, including monthly and year-end reconciliations.

RequirementsPrefer bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration or the equivalent experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.Individual must possess strong leadership, management, organizational, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is essential.Must be able to successfully pass a background and credit check.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
