Contracts Administrator (Mid - Level)

 

 

MTI seeks a Contracts Administrator to administer the contracts and orders, from cradle-to-grave, including proposal support (pricing and contract references).

 

General Experience:Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, marketing, or organization and management.  Minimum of 5 years of experience necessary.

 

Specialized Experience: The CA shall have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience supporting a federal contractor, including working knowledge of FAR and various types of contracts (CPFF, FFP, T&M, LH).  Candidate shall have hands-on experience with Deltek GCS Premier.

 

Duties: Administer Government contracts that may include but is not limited to: preparation of and participation in contract proposals, auditing contract files, and administration of major contracts. May also assist in tracking funding levels and modifications to all contracts and task orders.  May also supporting billing of contracts.



 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

§ Handles all contract modifications and administrative duties

§ Set-ups contracts in Deltek (including funding, payment office, job codes, and contract workforce)

§ Assists in resolving initial contractual and/or delivery problems.

§ Serve as liaison to Government Procurement for contractual discussions pertinent to the each contract/program.

§ Coordinates with Human Resources and program offices regarding DD254s

§ Responds to FOIA requests

§ Pricing experience

§ Completes Subcontract Reports (SF 294) bi-annually

§ Coordinates Non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements and subcontracts

§ Issues Purchase Orders and consultant agreements

§ Create invoices, verify accounts receivables against contracts

 

 

Ideal candidate will have at a minimum a Secret Clearance.  If no clearance, candidate must be able to obtain a clearance.
