Controller for established venture capital firm

Established global venture capital firm specializing in seed, start-up, early stage and growth stage investments is looking for a Assistant Controller/Controller. This successful VC firm has over $8 billion under management and 5 offices worldwide.The Assistant Controller or Controller will have primary responsibility for the basic accounting and financial reporting functions and working closely with the managing partners. You will also be expected to serve a much broader role that include financial analysis on prospective investments, industry research and review of marketing and communication materials.Requirements:BS degree in Accounting or related 8+ years of public/private accounting, emphasis in venture capital and private equity preferredSignificant knowledge and experience with investment partnership tax compliance and GAAP reporting standardsCPA required Accountants Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
