Corporate Tax Manager

Tax manager within a global fund manager.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Develop, recommend, and implement transfer pricing policies and related intercompany agreements. 

· Maintain records of these policies and procedures and provide assistance in planning and development of systems supporting transfer pricing calculations.

· Manage the transfer pricing documentation process for the key jurisdictions where firm does business.

· Oversee the transfer pricing services of outside service providers.

· Review of computation of intercompany charges.

· Assist in the review of transfer pricing documentation.

· Gather information and prepare Forms 5472.

· Provide assistance with international tax planning projects, including repatriation and capital planning.

· Work closely with the internal departments and service providers, e.g., portfolio management, marketing, financial reporting, product teams, internal and external counsel, independent auditors, and external tax authorities.

 

Requirements:

 

· 5+ years of experience, with a combination of Big 4 and industry experience. Financial services industry experience preferred.

· Strong knowledge of the transfer pricing documentation process

· Solid written and verbal communications skills.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Excellent teamwork and relationship-building skills.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills.  Experience with Oracle financial applications a plus.

· BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.  CPA and Masters in Taxation preferred.
