Credit & Collections Specialist
Qualified candidates must possess an Associate’s degree with 5-7 years Credit and Collections experience. Must be proficient in MS Office Applications, AS400/JDE, BPCS, GETPaid, and Lotus Notes. Responsibilities will include daily collections of A/R past due accounts based on assigned credit terms and limits. Negotiating and resolving past due and credit hold accounts, with Sales departments and customers. Interfacing with customers, Sales Representatives, Customer Service, and other departmental associates to resolve/reconcile deductions and past due items. Maintaining the GETPaid system. Daily testing, adjustments, and corrections to all strategies as they relate to the GETPaid system. Continuous improvement of GETPaid collection strategies. Providing updates and regular training to departmental staff on GETPaid software. Verifying import data from JDE, BPCS and CAD. Conducting regular credit reviews of accounts receivable portfolios. Assisting in credit evaluation of new accounts. MEMA and D&B credit and financial reporting. Generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management. Analyzing customer accounts.
