Credit Manager
Duties:
This position will be responsible for all activities associated with the extension of credit. The credit manager will research customers requesting credit accounts with the company to include financial information, submissions to credit insurers, business history, and current credit records and make most decisions about extending credit to new customers and current customers.
The credit manager will also ensure appropriate collection activity is completed via telephone or correspondence, and negotiated payment terms are consistent with the goals of the company while maintaining good customer relations. The credit manager is expected to be firm with late accounts, but have tact communicating so business is not lost.
The credit manager will also manage all accounts receivable duties, including cash receipts, delegating tasks to assistant(s), and communicating with bank representatives.
Requirements:
Prior experience in credit and collections management is a must!
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient computer knowledge, MAS 200 experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment with minimal guidance.
