Derivative Accounting Manager
We are seeking a FAS 133 Accounting Manager guru to work for a growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to be the “go to” person within this dynamic organization. In this role you will implement policies and procedures and establish internal controls. We are seeking someone who has strong understanding of technical accounting principals including GAAP, FAS 133, and FAS 157. Specifics include FAS 133 compliance including preparing and tracking derivative contracts; Back testing; FAS 157 compliance and preparing the relevant disclosures; Implementing the lead training program for new policies as they are developed; Advise on technical accounting issues; Prepare and distribute technical white papers. We are seeking a BS in Accounting with a CPA. FAS 133 is a must and some audit will be helpful.
