Field Support Representative
The Field Support Representative (FSR) position supports all field sales activity and operations within the territory for Heska Corporation. It executes all training and installations of hematology and chemistry analyzers in the territory.
Daily travel with effective call routing, frequent clinic visits, and overnight travel will be required based on territory size and demand. Rapport development and developing greater Heska brand awareness in veterinary hospitals/clinics is a pivotal aspect of the role. Implementing, delivering, and executing specific training to clinic staff to properly operate and maximize use of company analyzers, other products, as well as minor trouble-shooting will be required.
Additional responsibilities include...
* Ensure compliance to training standards, and deliver a high level of customer service to optimize customer retention.
* Work in close collaboration with the Territory Manager and Inside Sales Representatives on an ongoing, pro-active basis to formulate solutions to various clinic and territory needs.
* Schedule coverage/coordinate installations and training in a timely manner. Produces high quality work in a timely manner.
* Provide functional management and administrative support for territory and FSR program.
* Serve as liaison between customer, Territory Manager, and Heska Corporation.
* Implement and maintain operational and installation procedures with regard to training clinics.
* Participate in general procedure and policy planning to further develop skills.
* Visit clinic/hospital locations and may perform site audits for prospecting, inventory needs, etc.
* Prepare, provide and convey diversified information, which may be of a technical or competitive nature through departmental procedures and directives.
* Maintain efficiency of clinic coverage, and accountable to maintain call coverage within set guidelines.
Job Requirements:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of veterinarian experience is required.
o Requires college degree, but accredited technical vocation or Associate’s degree/experience will be considered. A degree in Animal Science is preferred.
o Requires high level of rapport development, and customer service orientation.
o Requires computer skills for database note taking, call routing, and email communication.
o Requires attention to technical detail, and ability to convey that information concisely.
o Requires clean driving history, and valid driver's license
o Heavy travel required for client meetings commuting in territory with occasional overnight visits, company car provided.
o This position is based out of the greater Charlotte, NC area. Applicants outside of this area will not be considered.
