QUALIFICATIONS:Four to five years experience in an accounting or finance role for a professional services company.Someone who is client service focused with experience handling multiple projects.A master juggler (not really!) who can prioritize and work effectively in a fast paced environment.A team player who likes to take the initiative and is excited about learning and finding new ways of doing things.A bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance is required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitate monthly billing and liaison between account staff and billing department.  This includes review of posted transactions to identify significant time and expense write-offs, processing of inter-departmental allocations and pulling of backup as neededProvide senior management with monthly financial package describing results to date, forward projections compared to budget and communicate noticeable trends.Be a partner with account teams in pricing large client proposals and developing budgetsReview management reports and identify and communicate areas of concern and suggested improvements to account staff and management (management reports include missing time, over/under service, client profitability)Live the Edelman values (quality, integrity, respect, entrepreneurial spirit, mutual benefits)
