Finance Project Manager

This position is key to the Global Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) Finance group, and will be actively involved with the R&D product development teams for next generation transcatheter heart valves and delivery systems, and the Clinical Affairs organization responsible for conducting clinical trials to gain regulatory approval for these new products.

 

Responsibilities to include:

 

- Analyze, interpret, and communicate monthly results.

 

- Proactively identify issues, influence others to action, and drive change.

 

- Analyze spending trends and partner with R&D & Clinical leaders to develop/update quarterly forecasts and budgets for the annual operating plan.

 

- Challenge processes to provide timely, accurate and useful information to make informed business decisions.

 

- Prepare and process month-end journal entries & review balance sheet account reconciliations.

 

- Review capital expenditure requests and conduct fixed asset reviews.

 

- Assist the corporate tax group to optimize the R&D tax credit.

 

Experience / Education / Special Requirements : 

 

- A minimum eight years accounting or finance experience is required. Background in expense analysis, planning, and forecasting is preferred.

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.

 

Ideal candidate will have demonstrated strength in the following areas:

 

- Financial analysis

 

- Advanced Excel & system skills required with ability to create models.

 

- Bias for action and ability to work independently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.

 

- Problem-solving skills, detail-orientation, and flexibility required.

 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
