Financial Controller - Please call 562-809-1419Description: Do you have a strong manufacturing background? Volt Services Group is currently seeking a Financial Controller for one of our clients in the Glendale area. The Financial Controller will be assisting the VP of Administration in overseeing, implementing and monitoring internal financial controls. Assisting the Executives in planning, directing, and coordinating the financial activities of the company. Responsible for regular financial reporting within the company. Analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability and other financial activities. Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA licensed preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years in cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis theory and practices. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities. Ability to work independently with people at all levels of the organization from senior executives to entry level manufacturing employees.
