High Visibility Law Firm-Controller
Our client, a top-tier Washington DC Law Firm,is seeking a Controller to oversee all aspects of the Accounting Department. Must have extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of the operational and financial issues associated with client billing, accounts payable, payroll processing, general ledger management and preparation of monthly financial statements.
Candidate must have a BS in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred. Must be a self-starter; have strong analytical and problem solving skills; detailed oriented; ability to prioritize projects; work well under pressure; and effectively manage people. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows applications is required. Excellent benefits and salary will commensurate with experience. Prior experience as a Controller for a mid-large sized law firm is required.
