INVESTMENT ACCOUNTING STAFF TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT POSITIONS
Description Headquartered in Windsor, CT and with offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, SS&C, a GROWING leader that provides the global financial services industry with a broad range of highly specialized software, business process outsourcing (BPO) services and application service provider (ASP) solutions. We deliver mission-critical processing for information management, analysis, trading, accounting, reporting and compliance. We are looking for all levels including Director level experience with some or all of the following: Statutory/Insurance Regulatory Reporting, Fixed Income Accounting, Equity and Institutional accounting and financial exposure, Derivatives and/or Asset Management background. The positions range from Staff Accountants to Management level with two shifts available. You will perform investment accounting and reporting functions for clients with basic to moderately complex securities depending on the level position. Activities will include trade processing, cash and holdings reconciliation, variance analysis and research using Bloomberg, and assist in generating daily or monthly customer reports. For those on a management level, you will manage high profile clients and the team that supports them.
Requirements Qualifications: -Depending on level of position, 2 to 10 years experience working in an Asset Management environment, and or Institutional Investment firm. -Management level must have at least 5 years strong management, client relations, and hands on experience. -BS or BA degree in Accounting or Finance and direct experience working within a client/server environment. -A plus: Master's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance Benefits include: 401K Tuition Reimbursement Health and Dental Plan Bonus Incentives Free parking Job Code : 182 Division/Department : Direct Operations Outsourcing Travel Required : None Skills : Accounting -> Accounting Management
