IT Audit Manager and Senior IT Auditor
Our client is a well-known company located in the Washington DC area. Their audit department is in an exciting growth phase and is successfully transitioning from a "traditional" audit focus to a consulting-oriented approach. They are currently looking for an IT Audit leader (IT Audit Senior Manager or IT Audit Manager) to bring in new ideas and drive a risk-based IT Audit agenda. The top position requires at least 8 solid years of experience directing and performing IT Audits in a progressive environment. They are also looking for a strong Senior IT Auditor with at least 3 years of experience. These positions are a great fit for someone who has achieved success in a "Big 4" (or similar) firm and is ready to move into a growing company with a great corporate culture.
Candidates with experience at "Big 4" or other services firms is highly preferred. Most members of the audit team have "Big 4" backgrounds.
Proven track record of identifying the business impact of IT Risks and proactively driving processes to mitigate relevant IT control weaknesses.
Demonstrated ability to explain technical risks in business language, influence decision-makers, and build rapport with people at all levels.
Technical foundation paired with strategic vision to plan and guide audits of a variety of technologies including Unix, Windows, and ERPs (such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Oracle.)
CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor - certification is strongly preferred.
Some travel will be required.
Our client will only interview candidates with a stable job history, and is uninterested in "SOX Contracting" experience.
