Junior Accountant Summary

Our client, a Fortune 500 company, is looking to add a key consultant to their team located in for a Junior Accounting position to perform basic accounting duties.

Junior Accountant duties include:Perform cash receipt, expense and other transaction postings to ledger. Verify journal or ledger entries for accuracy. Review, correct and perform calculations to accounting documents prior to entering into company records.


 

Essential Junior Accountant Skills & CharacteristicsMinimum of six months relevant experience in accounting or finance background Accounting or Finance related degree Aptitude for working well in both individual and team environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office and custom accounting software programs
