Manager, Global Independence Monitoring System - Wilton, CT The individual in this position will oversee, maintain, manage and improve existing daily and weekly processes related to Deloitte's Global Independence Monitoring System (GIMS) in Wilton, CT. The individual will also be responsible for developing processes to improve data quality, completeness and accuracy of securities data in the GIMS application. The GIMS Manager is also responsible for the accurate execution and monitoring of GIMS related processes. With an increasing number of processes to be executed by the Deloitte member firms, it is critically important to monitor the execution of these processes on a global level. This will include the monitoring of the eight major GIMS reports run by the Deloitte firms on a weekly basis. This will also include the import of HR data, the support of member firm administrators and Global Independence Coordinators, as well as the monitoring of data quality in GIMS and the monitoring of member firm exception processing. The GIMS Manager will also assist and lead projects related to GIMS. The GIMS Manager should lead the roll-out of new functionality to other member firms and the general support of the GIMS application. The team managed by the GIMS Manager will also be responsible for testing core functionality of new releases. The primary component of this role will be Project Management. Familiarity with auditor independence is a plus. Data management systems experience is also a plus. - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Master degree in Business Administration or Information Technology a plus - Experience managing a small team of professionals - Customer Service attitude and demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated history of process design and improvement - Detail oriented, strong analytical, and organizational skills - Experience with various types of securities - Highly skilled in standard office-productivity tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Word) - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic work environment - 8-12+ years relevent experience is required - Extensive project management experience is critical About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
