Opportunity
Reporting directly to the SVP responsible for managing the accounting, reporting and financial operations for strategic income funds, managed accounts, and limited partnerships. This position will operate as an integral part of the Investment Fund Reporting management team.
Oversee and review services in accounting, financial reporting, shareholder reporting, compliance, distributions, fund tax analysis, shareholder tax reporting, performance, and matters related to complying with the ’40Act. Review financial reporting such as:Quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports. Asset and cash reconciliation reports. Annual excise distribution.Analysis for monthly distribution.REMIC and contingent convertibles workpapers.Board presentation materials.Forms N-Q, N-SAR and N-CSR.
Other areas of responsibility may include: interfacing with the legal department in issuing the annual prospectus for the funds; acting as a pricing coordinator for the Company which includes reviewing of daily price exceptions, stale price report, and work the Company Pricing Committee on resolving price issues; special projects/analyses.
Profile
CPA and experience with the investment management industry are required.
