Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC), one of the largest suppliers of rented industrial & construction equipment, seeks talented people for a Mechanic position at our location. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters who want to enhance their skills with a company whose reputation speaks for itself.

You'll be responsible for repairs to all rental equipment, shop equipment, and trucks in accordance with HERC quality and efficiency standards.

Requirements:

* In-depth knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (both gas and diesel), DC Electrical Systems, Propane Systems, Hydraulics, Track Equipment, Aerial Equipment, and Heavy Trucks/Automotive
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Propane Systems.
* Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions
* Basic welding techniques
* Own a master mechanic tool set
* Maintains a safe and clean work environment
* Willingness to work overtime when required
* Maintain a clean driving record
* Driver's license
* Basic knowledge of the Hertz Fleet
* Desire to be a Team Player
