Manager/Senior Tax Accountant

 

Our San Ramon Tax practice is looking for an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Accountant to specialize in Non-Profit Organizations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Specialize in the preparation, review and processing of non-profit 990 series tax returns.

· Knowledge and experience in For Profit federal and state tax compliance/review.

· Identify and resolve issues related to returns.

· Perform complex research and prepare memorandums summarizing facts, questions and conclusions.

· Keep abreast of tax law changes, as it related to non-profit and federal and state tax areas.

· Mentor staff in career development

· Develop and maintain client relationships.

 

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline

· 4-6 years non-profit tax experience

· Knowledge and familiarity with federal and state tax returns

· CPA or in process of obtaining licensure

· Proven experience dealing with private foundations, both compliance and operations issues

· Strong research, writing and analytical skills

· Excellent written and communication skills
