Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and annual closing process. Provides management reporting schedules and financial analysis to support the schedules and provide insight for the Sacramento Plant. Ensures an adequate system of internal control is maintained, mitigating inherent control risk. Ensures financial reporting is prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). * Educates operations management in financial matters to build management team effectiveness.* Performs complex problem solving and communicates financial analysis in a clear and simple manner.* Establishes aggressive but realistic financial goals that are consistent with Corporate objectives.* Develops cost reduction initiatives.* Leads the successful implementation of SAP reporting* Performs effective presentations. Requirements: Job Specifications* Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related Finance. * Education desired: Graduate level degree in Accounting or Business Administration (MBA).* Years of relevant experience: 8-10 years at senior managerial level with broad financial, cost accounting, factory accounting, SAP and other information systems, and supply chain responsibilities.
