Quality Assurance Director

Description:

* Develop department goals that align with corporate strategic plan
* Direct, mentor and coach the Quality Department Provide corporate Quality leadership through communication of goals, objectives and strategic plan
* Plan short and long term goals
* Train and mentor staff on implementation of plan(s) to achieve objectives Forecast department staff, material and capital needs
* Forecast and plan materials required for custom made equipment
* Ensure domestic and international regulatory requirements and standards are met
* Maintain the highest standards of Quality compliance
* Provide quality oversight for new product development
General requirements :
* Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or Science with Masters’ degree preferred
* 15 years of medical device experience
* 5 years of Quality Assurance Management experience within medical device manufacturing setting
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
* Proven track record of mentoring and leading a Quality staff Strong working knowledge of Quality System regulations and standards such as; ISO 13485, 2003, QSR, etc.
