Retail Administrative Bookkeeper

JOB TITLE: Retail Administrative Bookkeeper
DUTIES
1. Check, verify and account for retail sales from daily email
2. Maintain a daily retail sales report schedule. Verify sales balances and record all monies collected and sales by type.
3. Check, verify and account for accuracy of actual sales receipts.
4. Verify shipments against daily shipping report.
5. Maintain delivery log for all deliveries.
6. Maintain inventory log for all orders and deliveries.
7. Prepare daily bank deposits for deliveries and cust deposits.
8. Prepare commission worksheets for retail parts.
9. Maintain audit control log for retail sales and retail deliveries
10. Check, verify and prepare info for credit card chargeback's.
11. Prepare customer deposits report
12. Prepare finance and a/r report
13. Month End Close to include – Bank Rec’s for Retail Locations – Summary of Customer Deposits, Finance Rec, Enter Retail Location Journal Entries.
Qualification/Requirements:
Knowledge – Knowledge of the general Ledger accounts, A/R, A/P, bank reconciliation’s.
Analytical – Understanding what the numbers represent and analyzing the situation.
Problem Solving – Identifying the nature of a problem and correcting it quickly and accurately.
Production and processing – Completing the month-end process within a timely manner.
Quality – Ensuring accuracy within your work.
Reading comprehension – Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents (such as insurance policies, fixed assets).
Mathematics – Understanding debits must equal credits.
Education/Training/Experience
Education/Experience: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or Finance) with at least 3 years of related experience. Must have a strong general ledger accounting background, proficient Excel skills. (we'll take an accounting certificate)
Language Ability: Must have excellent written and verbal communication. Must be able to speak English.
Reasoning Ability: Self-motivated, detail oriented, accurate hardworking professional.
Computer Skills: Strong Excel skills and familiar with ERP systems (Mas 90, GreatPlains, Epicor Platinum)
