Revenue Analyst

Take the next step in your Accounting/Finance career with this publicly traded company actively seeking a staff level Revenue Recognition Analyst to join their team.  This role will be largely responsible for helping to understand the client’s needs and structure transactions to maximize revenue recognition. With a global focus our client offers internal growth opportunities throughout its Northern California region as well as the chance to step into a challenging and satisfying role.  This position will be exposed to senior management and engage in a team setting on a weekly basis. One of the top leaders in the industry, our client has requested our help in recruiting for this direct hire opportunity.RESPONSIBILITIES: -Researching revenue recognition issues and provide guidance when necessary - Assist in special global projects such as SOX, Marketing, Acquisitions and Internal Audit -Work closely with negotiations and the review of service contracts -Interact with external auditors during quarterly audits and on technical issues - Ensuring contracts are in line with GAAP standards -Participate on a Global Task Force for Revenue Recognition projectsQUALIFICATIONS: -BS degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field) required -Ideally seeking 3-4 years of accounting/finance experience -SOP 97-2 experience OR CPA is preferred -Exposure to Oracle financials is a plusIf this direct hire opportunity sounds of interest to you, please submit a Word version of your resume to Laura Zettel at lzettel@accountantsinc.com for immediate consideration.
