SEC Senior Financial Analyst

A large high-tech distributor is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a go-to-person for the company’s SEC reporting and report directly to the Finance Manager. The primary job responsibilities include financial analysis, month/quarter/year-end reporting, SEC 10Q/10K, and FAS 123R. Ideal candidates will possess a CPA or be a CPA Candidate. Job Description:Responsibilities: Preparation of Quarterly and Annual SEC (10Q & 10K) filings Support quarterly earnings release process Prepare quarterly financial reporting and analysis for Board of Directors and senior management Preparation of quarterly cash-flows statement Preparation of documentation for various accounting treatment Monthly financial analysis for all global entities and review with the forecast Assisting with technical accounting research Responsible for stock options (FAS 123R) accounting Coordinating statutory filings with international entities Assisting with accounting treatment for various contracts Assist on various special projects as assigned by CFO, VP Finance or other Senior Management Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of related experience with increasing responsibilities in large multinational company including minimum of 3-4 years public accounting firm Current knowledge and experience with various accounting standards, principles and pronouncements Proficient in financial modeling using Excel Education: Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting CPA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent Other: Strong analytical skill Must be detail oriented Excellent communication (oral and written) skill Ability to work in team environment with positive attitude Self starter with ability to prioritize workload Ability to identify areas and make recommendations for improvements in existing processes A strong work ethics and high energy to be committed to a fast paced environment Interested candidates should send an updated resume to jcrab@accountantsinc.com and call Josh Crab at 925-416-1101 for immediate consideration.
