SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR

We are seeking an organized individual that can complete tasks within established time constraints.  Auditing duties include following an audit plan and organizing audit assignments in a timely manner; gathering data prior to the audit to analyze and select samples to be used during fieldwork; conducting on-site audits of hospitals and clinics using the internal audit program, pre-audit work papers as well as interviews and observation; preparing a list of audit findings and conduct exit conferences with hospital management personnel and preparing formal reports of audit findings along with auditee responses.  Conduct follow-ups as needed and assist with the preparation of reports for the Audit Committee.  A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required with at least 2 years of audit experience – preferably in the healthcare industry.
