Financial services firm has an opening for a Staff Accountant. Our firm was established in 1983 and specializes in serving the Entertainment Industry and Non-Profit organizations. We also provide professional services to individuals and businesses throughout the United States. Qualifications:

  Undergraduate degree (B.S. in Accounting or Finance) 0-2 years of accounting experience including preparation of journal entries, account analysis, financial statement preparation, auditing, income tax preparation, payroll and sales tax returns Must be proficient in the use of Excel and Word Some experience with Peachtree, QuickBooks and tax preparation software a plus Organized individual with attention to detail Good oral and written communication skills Ability to meet deadlines, including availability to work overtime and/or weekends as necessary to meet deadlines

 

Job Responsibilities:

  Diversified accounting, bookkeeping and auditing assignments Income tax preparation, planning and research Payroll and sales tax returns  Special projects as may be assigned
