Senior AccountantThis is an opportunity to join one of the best companies in the country. Our client is seeking a top rated young accounting professional to join their team in their Chester Co, PA office. To be considered for this position you must be a high energy, go-getter coming from a public accounting firm with major Fortune 500 client exposure. The position details are as follows: Assist in the monthly financial statement close process Prep of account recs for various divisions of the business Prepare inserts for various reporting packages and analysis of financial results in relation to previous year projections Assist in the implementation of changes as it relates to GAAP Assist in accounting and analysis of various corp investments and legal entities Interact with internal and external auditors and various departments across the company Assist on special projects as neededQualifications: BS in Accounting or Finance CPA or in progress 2+ years experience working in a national or tier II public accounting firm with exposure to Fortune 500 clients Strong technical accounting and internal controls knowledge Great future leader attributes Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
