Senior Accountant for Large Non-Profit

One of San Francisco's largest non-profit organizations that works to ensure the survival and growth of the community through fundraising, planning, and providing programs and services, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their accounting team.  This is a well rounded position with a lot of room for growth.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  daily General Ledger reconciliations; monthly journal entries for payroll; maintenance of the fixed asset ledger and depreciation expenses; supervises both accounts payable and accounts receivable; assist in preparation of audit schedules.  This is an interactive role and will work closely with all members of the Accounting Department, as well as, the Information Technology and Campaign teams.To be considered for this role candidates must have at least 5 years of General Ledger accounting experience with Bachelors degree in Accounting.  Strong communication, organization, and Excel skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management are also required.  Management of staff and non-profit industry experience are highly preferred.  This is a direct-hire role and will pay $70-75k/yr.Please email your resume to psehgal@accountantsinc.com to be considered.
