Senior Corporate Accountant

We are looking for a SENIOR CorporateAccountant for a VH1/MTV - TV Production Company!

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•            Primaryresponsibility for general ledger accounting for several entities.

•            Facilitateand complete monthly close procedures

•            Preparemonthly account reconciliations

•            Assistwith analyzing balance sheet, revenues and expenses on a monthly basis and reporton variances

•            Assistwith preparing parent company reporting requirements

•            Assistwith the preparation of budgets and forecasts

•            Assistin documentation and monitoring of internal controls

•            Assistwith financial audits

•            Otherprojects as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•            Bachelor’sdegree in Accounting required

•            5+years accounting experience; CPA a plus, but not required

•            Experiencein television production company accounting preferred

•            Highlydetail-oriented and organized in work

•            Abilityto meet assigned deadlines

•            Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills

•            Abilityto act and operate independently with minimal daily direction

•            Proficiencywith QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications

•            Abilityto work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees andmanagement to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results.
