Senior Exchange Administrator

The Microsoft Exchange Administrator will be a technical hands-on administrator in support of the enterprise mail platform, primarily Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 and Microsoft Outlook. Thorough and complete knowledge of the Microsoft Exchange (2000, 2003 and 2007) application in an enterprise-level environment as well as operating systems from the Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 and 2007 series and Microsoft Active Directory in a 24x7x365 production environment.   • Manage the application of software upgrades, security patches and planned maintenance of Exchange 2000/2003/2007 • Responsible for communicating all messaging performance degradation to management • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Messaging environment • Maintain strict change control of messaging infrastructure • Measure capacity and performance trends to determine long-term needs • Provide systems metrics, root cause analysis and proactive monitoring • Create, test and update disaster recovery plans • Provide other technical services as necessary for the successful completion of projects • Provide 24/7/365 support • Backup Blackberry administrator • Work order and problem ticket resolution and tracking via Siebel • Generate SAS70 and SOX Audit reports • 3+ Years experience as an Exchange Administrator 2000/2003 in an enterprise environment • Exchange 2007 experience a plus • 2+ Years experience with RIM Blackberry Enterprise Server administration • Candidate should be comfortable handling high level Exchange administration / engineering tasks • Candidate must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and deal calmly with team members and difficult customers • Experience with Microsoft Cluster Service. Experience with Marathon HA clustering a plus • Working knowledge with DNS, WINS, DHCP • Knowledge of enterprise level Exchange backups/restores. Including NT Backup, TimeData, and Double Take • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write concise, accurate and readable technical documentation and reports   We offer an excellent salary and benefits package.
