CITY/STATE: 85016POSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/InsuranceSALARY: 75,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD /yearREFERENCE CODE: PXSP-ITAU Senior IT Auditor-Growth Company     This growing, multi billion dollar valley company has created a Senior IT Auditor position!  The IT Audit Senior performs independent reviews and evaluations of internal application and computer general controls, and provides value added suggestions for improving IT processes and controls, where appropriate, to support the achievement of the Internal Audit mission, to provide independent, objective assurance and business advisory services designed to add value and improve operations.  The main responsibilities include the following: Conduct in-depth audits of critical business applications, focusing on business process controls, application configurations, compliance with corporate policy, logical access controls, and change controls. Conduct audits/reviews of assigned business processes to evaluate adequacy of controls.  This will include documenting business processes, reviews of new system implementations, security administration, application processing, IT planning and monitoring. Determine whether operating units are performing administration and control procedures in compliance with management instructions, applicable statements of policies and procedures, and in a manner consistent with both Company objectives and industry accepted practices. Report findings and make recommendations for correction of control weaknesses, improvements in operations, and reductions in cost.Requirements:· BS/BA undergraduate degree in a related field.· 2-5 years of experience, preferably with Big Four audit/assurance practice.· CISA or CISSP Certificate strongly preferred.· Travel of up to approximately 25%· The ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet function well with independent responsibilities· An ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.  ·Strong Microsoft Office skills· Knowledge of project auditing and project management standards.· Appropriate technical knowledge of Unix, RACF/ACF2, Oracle, local and wide area networks, Tandem, Active Directory and Altiris.· Strong written and oral communication skillsCareer path to Internal Audit Manager or IT management at a support location.  This team works very closely with IT department.Please send your resume to Sharon Pierantozzi@ledgent.com About Ledgent Search Group Ledgent Search Group specializes in the placement of Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Audit professionals with top companies in every industry nationwide.
