Senior Payroll Analyst needed!

Are you a Senior Payroll Analyst?Would you like to grow with a large organization in the area?A local corporate accounting department is seeking a senior payroll processor for a contract assignment.  This position requires timely and accurate administration of a 12,000 employee, mulit-legal entity, multi-state, multi-frequency payroll which includes handling complex issues such as Workers compensation, decreased employee processing, international employees, education reibursement, and tax reconciliations.Candidates should also be comfortable with playing a significant role in year-end processing.  Demonstrating team leadership and supporting a teamwork environment is essential.Responsibilitis include: Project management for payroll related projects Payroll processing with team when needed Working alongside and consult payroll team on department impact of general accounting practicesQualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years of related experience 5+ years of payroll experience Thorough understanding of state tax and unemployment regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with automated payroll systems Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Prior experience with a large multi-state employer Acsys.
