SharePoint 2010 Senior Engineer

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LMI has an immediate need for a senior Microsoft SharePoint architect and engineer with MS SharePioint 2010 and ASP.NET expertise to join our Systems Development group. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience developing SharePoint and .NET applications in either the public or private sector. The candidate will work with a team of enterprise technologists and government personnel to design and configure SharePoint 2010 applications and migrate existing applications to SharePoint 2010.

Strong demonstrated experience developing web-based applications with the Microsoft .NET framework (version 3.0 and higher) and Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 is required. The successful candidate will also have a thorough understanding of software development practices, including requirements gathering and analysis, systems design, development, documentation, testing and integration. Knowledge of health data, understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements, and experience with health IT strongly desired.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Five (5) or more years of professional experience, with an emphasis on full lifecycle systems development including system design, development, and maintenance/support.
* Minimum B.S. in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
* Clearance: SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
* Strong demonstrated experience in web development using MS SharePoint (ideally 2010) and ASP.NET.
* Experience with SharePoint configuration and deployment strategies and products. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of software developers.
* Knowledgeable of Microsoft SharePoint 2010, including content management, web apps, Enterprise Project, Portfolio Management, and optional configurations of SharePoint.
* Experience developing collaboration platforms, including customized applications using standard SharePoint configuration options to meet specific business needs.
* Experience developing ensuring that all configuration management policies and procedures are followed in the creation of such workspaces and applications.
* Knowledge of DKO and AKO is a plus.
* Familiarity with the Borland Caliber requirements management tool is a plus.
* Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
