This position will report into the Director of Business Planning & Analysis.

The position will support the FP&A group in all aspects of financial planning and analysis, supporting the Rhozet business unit and the G&A organization.

This role is responsible for providing senior management with financial data in an organized and timely manner to allow for business decision making. In addition, providing analytics of actual financial results to ensure that the key objectives and metrics of the company are  met.

General areas of responsibility include preparing a budget/forecast (includes H/C, Operating Expense and Capital Investments), monthly accounting close and management reporting/metrics.

Developing and implementing a system for tracking and reporting on development project’s R&D cost.

Monitoring the Financial Metrics of Projects during the PLC process to ensure that project’s financial objectives are met.

The addition of this position will eliminate the need to hire a temporary consultant for 4-5 months of the budget cycle which costs the company about $50k-55k per year.

Ad hoc analysis/reporting as required.

Required Job Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are paramount to develop relationships across the company.

Ability to deal, influence and collaborate cross functionally will result in building strong relationships with all levels of a global organization.

Must  have good  understanding of GAAP,  and experience analyzing financial statements.

Self-starter with good project management skills and ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.

Have keen analytical and problem-solving skills,  and ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Experience in high tech industry and an understanding of the applicable finance and accounting issues and regulations.

Detailed oriented, organized approach to performing and reviewing work.

Ability to travel internationally

Proficient in systems such as Excel, Hyperion-Essbase, PowerPoint, Oracle 11i, Discover etc.

 

Training Requirements:  Years of Direct Experience Required: 5+  In what areas? Financial Planning & Analysis

Educational Requirements: Undergraduate degree in accounting and finance.  MBA preferred.
