The Operations Financial Analyst will: ·  Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and forecasts. Review, reconcile, and analyze accounting data.  Provide accurate historical and forecasted financial data to division management.  Work closely with the Operations and Program Managers, Engineering personnel, and Accounting personnel to obtain financial inputs for use in reporting and forecasting ·  Assist with the preparation of financial-related government, regulatory, and compliance documents Specific Responsibilities ·  Responsible for managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of production and logistics financial data including overhead expenses, job costs and inventory control.  Assist USG Pricing and Cost Analyst with tracking and reporting of CPFF and FFP Program Revenue and Cost activities. Other duties include accounting support of divisions warranty activities, distribution of weekly labor reports, divisional expense report auditing, support of Company Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process, assuring integrity of the data.
