Sr Internal Audit Manager

As a Senior Internal Audit Manager with Kaiser Permanente, you will have the opportunity to utilize your audit background and experience while developing your knowledge of health plan insurance, pharmacy, procurement & contracts auditing. In this role, you will function as a subject matter expert; internal consultant and mentor to Audit Staff on technical, operations, systems and financial control matters to strategically assess operational and financial issues/risks and formulate an annual audit plan for the region. 25% - 35% travel is required.This position requires:- CIA, CPA or CISA - 7+ years of professional auditing experience- 5+ years of supervisory experience- Knowledge of GAAP and the ability to work collaboratively with local senior management to coordinate/facilitate internal audit activities, including planning, scheduling, supervising and conducting various operational/financial integrated audits, reviews and special projects.- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or information systems (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience- Demonstrated success in maintaining strong customer focus and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. - Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, especially senior management. - Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. - Ability to persuade, articulate and defend positions. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and Lotus Notes. - Advanced skills in utilizing audit software including data analysis tools such as ACL, electronic workpapers such as TeamMate, timekeeping applications such as TimeSheet Professional, etc.The Regional Staff and In-Charge Auditors, Staff and In-Charge Auditors will report to the Senior Internal Audit Manager on a temporary, project basis. This position is critical to accomplishing the departmental goals and objectives.
